I am newer here also, and I don't know how to add friends, but I would love to be your accountablity partner.

This is one of my favorite articles on SparkPeople, and after reading your post, I thought you might appreciate it too. Here is a link to it:

It can really help change your thoughts around.

Finding a buddy is a great idea. A place to start is to join in on some of the SparkTeam message threads, for teams that you have interests or shared hobbies/activities with. That's where I've had the most success.

Good luck with all your goals,

Hey all.
I'm Tori.

I've just joined the site today, and I've already nailed down some of my big weaknesses. The first of them is this: I have zero self-control.

My motivation is there. I want to feel beautiful and fit and look stunning for my engagement/wedding photos and be able to feel like a million bucks in public.

But I haven't got the self-control to avoid things I know will only hinder that goal, or to go do things that will help me out.

What I've decided I want to do is set up accountability partnerships (even just one is fine, but the more, the merrier!)

I'm looking for people who would be willing to exchange either facebook or texting information (since those are the two best ways to reach me) and check in with each other at LEAST once a day.

I want to be able to challenge each other, encourage one another, and build the process into a mutual friendship, not just a business ideal.

If you think you're interested, feel free to send me a message or reply to this, and I'll be in touch. :)
