OH JEEPERS CATS!!!! That CEO would think I am a military tank!! I was a 10 for years now I am a 14 so if I go back down to a size 10 I do not think I would be acceptable wearing the clothes, because I would probably have to stuff in my loose skin into the clothes then it would show a BULGE . Oh wait I wonder if my SPANX would work!!!! With an attitude like his I do not need his clothes !!! Judy

I posted in another thread about this topic. I have never shopped there, and it has no appeal for me even though I could fit in those clothes.
I don't really think that chubby kids are always as unpopular as assumed, but overall, I support their right to sell to whatever type (and size) people they want. I also support my own and all of your rights not to shop there, even if we can fit in their clothes, or have kids/grandkids that could fit into them.

Well I didn't hear about it 7 yrs ago, it was just out this week made public by Kirstie Alley, so yes it did upset me. Hope the company does go down the drain with that kind of thinking
He said it SEVEN YEARS AGO. It's a meme that popped back up on the internet for some reason. This company has always been known for being ridiculously snobby; it hasn't been "cool" since about 1981. This was a desperate, creepy man trying to save a dying brand by going back to an appeal that barely worked 35 years ago. It didn't work, either. A&F has been circling the drain for at least 10 years.
Old news, not worth getting upset about. By talking about it, we're just performing CPR on the corpse.

exactly, then to be so snide about it. I mean when a girl like Kate Upton who won the Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover can be called fat there is something wrong with this country. I'd rather have curves then be a stick any day.....

I haven't about this but with so much of the country overweight it would seem like they are shooting themselves in the foot with those ideas. Think of all the business they lose.

Can you imagine a CEO saying that not everyone should be wearing your clothing and that they won't carry sizes more then a 10 or size large? In this day and age I can't believe there is such a stigma against plus sizes. They wonder why girls and boys have eating disorders with stuff like that said all these models that you see are all airbrushed yes even Victoria's Secret models. The CEO doesn't apologize for his comments, there was a huge uproar with Kirstie Alley this week over the store and their sizing. It doesn't matter what size you are it's what is inside and it's so amazing to me how people judge a person by the size pants they wear then the size heart they have........ Can you imagine being considered fat @ a size 10? geez
