Old me...which is young 25 year old me...I would tell her...

"Don't stop doing yoga! Never stop! Oh...and don't date those people you dated. They're losers."

It will be okay to be lighter, you will still be strong.

Little changes add up to big results. Don't try to do everything at once

Such a cliche, but it really is a journey. Your entire life does not hang in the balance over artificial deadlines you set for yourself to lose weight. Just keep moving forward.

Remember that it took you 100's of times to quit smoking to make it officially over - it may take 100's of times starting over each day to reach weight goals as well

If you're tired of starting over, stop quitting.

Stop acting like you aren't worth the effort.

I spent a lot of years putting basically no effort at all into my appearance -- because I felt like I wasn't worth it. My current (and most successful) weight loss journey didn't start until a few months after I finally decided to start dressing well (and yes, there is a way to dress a very overweight body well!), taking care of things like my hair and makeup, and generally making sure that l looked put-together, not haphazard. The weight loss came later -- once I really started believing I was worth the effort for that, too.

I'd tell myself to get started losing weight sooner. I feel like I missed out on a lot of opportunities I would have had, had I realized then and just bit the bullet.

don't get cocky. You do NOT have this beat, and you never will. As soon as you stop paying attention, you'll go flying off the cliff.

I can really relate to this one - I'm always trying to cut corners like not weighing stuff and it just ends in disaster!

Just one? emoticon

- don't give up, because eventually you'll try again, and you'll be really annoyed that you've slipped even further from your goal

I reckon I'd say, what are you waiting for? Waiting to start eating healthy... tomorrow... January 1st.. after that big party on Saturday? Waiting to start exercising til you "feel like it"? Waiting to work on getting healthy, til you have health problems?

Enjoy being young. Life will get harder and you don't want to have any regrets. Love harder, laugh longer, and never forget to tell people how you feel about them.

Mine would be 'Don't give up now, think of how much you would regret it 3 months from now when you could have been closer to your goal'.

Or ' Don't reward yourself with food, you are not a dog'
