Take a large whole wheat pita and slice in half so you have two circles.
Place both circles on a cookie sheet and use them as your crust !
Add sauce, veggies, cheese, italian seasonings and a drizzle of olive oil. Bake 350 degrees until cheese is melted !! Keep your eye on it, you don't want the crust to burn since it is so thin.

This past weekend a friend made thin crust pizza on the grill because it was quite hot in the house already. The toppings were mainly veggies and a small amount of cheese. The thin crusts were from the grocery store. I usually make my own crust, but these are really handy to keep in the freezer.
