Be kind to yourself and take one day at a time. Just try your best each day. You don't have to be perfect, just trying to be a little bit better than yesterday is enough. :-)

We all have our moments. I eat really well and within my range for several days and seem to pop of the bandwagon without even realizing it. I have a tiara for getting up and brushing myself off and getting back on the wagon.

Give yourself a break and keep on keepin' on!

Just wanted to echo what the others have said. You can do this. Small steps, and take it one day at a time.

And most importantly, STOP beating yourself up.

Stop beating yourself up! altho' you don't realize it, what you are doing is succeeding - you are finding out what DOESN'T work for you. I suspect there were a lot of changes all at once. If that is the case, remember BABY STEPS. Change only ONE or TWO things to start with and allow your mind/body to get used to the changes before adding another to the mix.

Sometimes people think it has to be an all or nothing kinda thing, but that will actually set you up for failure. Baby Steps allows us to gradually UNlearn the old habits which brought us here, as we equally gradually replace them with healthy new ones. THAT is how we sustain a life-long healthy lifestyle! THAT is how we reach our goals and maintain.

I am sure that you will get there, but we have to go through all the processes because unfortunately there aren't any shortcuts.

Good luck,

Don't look at weight loss or good health with an all or nothing attitude. If the only healthy thing you were to do for yourself today was to drink 8 glasses of water, that's still a step in the right direction. Remember, you're trying to change habits learned over a life time. that's not going to happen overnight, a week, a month or even a year. Changes takes time ! Thus the need to be patient with yourself and your body.

In short, cut yourself some slack. stop trying to be perfect. You don't have to be perfect to be healthy. Start with some simple changes. don't try to do everything at once or you will end up frustrated.

Example, if you're not used to eating 6-9 servings of fresh fruit and veggies, set a goal to eat 2-3 servings each day for one week. if you're not used to drinking 8 glasses of water, set a goal to drink 2-4 glasses each day for one week. if you're not used to regular exercise, set a goal to take a 30 minute walk each day for one week. Once you've achieved these goals, then you set new ones.

And that's how good health starts. It doesn't start with all or nothing. it starts with ONE small change. because one small change will lead to another and another and another....
