Eat a big breakfast, big lunch, snack during the afternoon, light dinner, and stop. Just stop. Just do it.

Figure out why you have them. Maybe you are thirsty or bored or tired. Maybe you didn't eat enough during the day. Figure out that and fix it and you should stop the munchies.

This is my downfall. I keep telling myself that I am smarter than that (fill in the blank) so you cannot con me into eating you. Works most of the time. Groan.

I've had that same problem. Easiest thing to do is not have any junk food in the house. If I don't have it, I can't eat it. But I can't say I've completely conquered this habit. Try drinking hot tea (no caffeine) or some water.

Don't stop if you can't. Switch to healthy stuff. Munch on carrot sticks, cucumbers, an apple, or a banana.

I go to bed, watch tv, and suck on a sugar free cough drop. I have to get out of the family/kitchen rea.

I brush my teeth after supper and don't even think about food any more.

It's a huge struggle. My husband and I always share an evening snack and decaf coffee about 9PM and, while I know it doesn't matter what time you eat, we always have a sweet snack and I know that's not what should be going in right before we go to bed at 10:30. I haven't been able to break the habit so far....

Make sure you have two snacks at night before you go to bed, that include protein and carbs, so you can sleep through 2 AM until you need to get up. Maybe some f/f milk and cereal, or peanut butter on toast. Cheese on toast.
