And how does it make you feel to know that you did it? It is a good feeling to know you made better choices than you thought you were capable of. Keep up the good work. Eventually you will learn that you have the power and the control. Those baby steps will add up over time.

Thanks everyone for responding! I did eat before I went in to town, I didn't stop at any fast food places, I did buy some food I didn't need, but it sure went better than I had feared!
I am trying to take babysteps, sometimes they are very , very small baby steps!! I guess even if I learn something I am gaining!! (and hopefully losing!! LOL)

Not eating is not a good solution.
You specified the distance to town - if that means you're walking or cycling, you should definitely have something to eat in advance.

Plus, get yourself hydrated, and take water with you, especially if it's hot outside.

Make wise choices.
Look at nutritional information online.
Order small portions, or, order a take-out box at the same time; and divide the portion in half and take home the rest.

Make plans, and you'll conquer it, step by step.

Sometimes I found that not limiting myself to the yummy fast food places that my mind so craves actually help. What I do though is order something healthy as opposed to what I would normally order. So the thought of knowing I ate out, some how curbs the craving for all the bad foods. For Instance. I will go to is Jack In The Box. I use to love their tacos, but now I go and I get the Chicken Fajita Pita, it is a much healthier choice but I still get the satifaction of eating out. Does that make sense? Well it works for me. Lol. Hope this helped a little emoticon

Well first of something at home that is healthy and satisfying, which will help curb your appetite for something bad. My philosophy has been to win mental battles....that is my one goal. KEEP WINNING THE MENTAL BATTLE. If I keep winning those battles, then I will be proud of myself and healthier.

Don't let yourself lose this battle!! You can do it, focus on your ultimate goal, of where you want to be, how you want to feel, how you want to look. Don't sabotage it. If you do, then make sure you get right back on that wagon and keep pushing toward your goals.

You can do it!!!
