My family refused to eat them after they smelled the package as I opened it. I didn't care for the texture of these noodles. After eating some, I felt bloated and gassy! Some things not worth 0 calories.

I just bought them and tried them yesterday. They're at one of our international markets (GrandMart) for $1.49 for 8 ounce package. Much cheaper than ordering online.

As near as I can tell, there are 2 varieties of miracles noodles. One is all elephant yam (not related to yam/sweet potato) and one is yam and tofu. The ones with tofu have 20 calories per 4 ounce serving; the ones with all yam have zero. Both have zero cholesterol. The tofu ones have 3 g of carbs.

The instructions were to rinse well (the water they're packed in has a strong odor) and then parboil in water for 3 minutes.

We ate the angel hair last night. I rinsed well, parboiled for 90 seconds and then threw them into a sizzling skillet to get browned a bit.

They were very chewy, so next time, I'll parboil the full amount. I didn't know how they'd hold up with the stir frying action. They had zero flavor and I kept sniffing to detect the odor you rinse off. I couldn't smell it but this distracted my enjoyment.

I had made a simple tomato sauce to top them off.

My husband didn't know anything other than these were zero cholesterol noodles. He ate them all with gusto.

I will be trying them with stronger flavored sauces and in soups.

One of my stepdaughters is gluten-free and these are also gulten-free. I'll be getting her some of these to try.

Go to Hungry Girl's website. She uses the Shirataki noodles, those are 20 calories. I prefer the shirataki brand, more texture and flavor.

I've never heard of these before now! Just did some research and they seem awesome! I'm going to look in to getting some and will let you know if I come up with anything tasty!

So i purchased miracle noodles with 0 calories and 0 carbs. They are not bad. Anyone have any recipe ideas for them or have a preferred way of making them that tastes better than another. I new to these and bought the variety box so i have the rice and the noodles.
