Hi Michellezo: Your right I just found out I have 2 hernias I had this problem twice before but not 2 at a time. I will not let it get me down. have been thinking about this all month I joined weight watchers. lost 6 lbs. I need the face to face meetings as well as sp between the both programs I think I can make it. As long as I keep the faith in myself I know I can make this journey that I've tried so many times before. I'm seeing the surgeon on sept 6th and will take it from there. No since worrying about something I have no control over. But I do have control over what I put in my body and take off. I will put healthy food in and take off the weight even a little at a time. any weight off will help if I do need surgery. take care and have a good weekend till next time Keep Sparking

Don't let the setback de-rail your plans. You can still eat a healthy diet and as long as you are walking, you still get exercise, if your gym has a pool thats even better. I too started a new diet and exercise plan but due to the weight I am carrying around I aggravate a knee injury just by walking, so I have to get creative, or only work out a little at a time to avoid serious re-injury. Good luck, you can do it.
It never seems to fail! Just when I get all my ducks in a row and plan on a program to loose weight and work out. some misshap happens ,now it's a hernia. I already had 2 surgeries on this problem. Right now I look like i'm 6 months pregnant. Monday I go for an ultra sound to find out what is going on. Wanted to start working out with WEIGHTS but I guess I will Just have to :WAIT" for the results on the ultra sound. The good thing is I can at least get my walking in. this morning I walked 45 min. before I got ready for work. Oh Well the gym has a steam & Sauna the gym membership won't go entirely to waste. have a great day everyone
