I have learnt to be aware of my body, what I put in it, how important it is to exercise. I have learnt that there is a wonderful opportunity to make extraordinary friends on Spark. I have learnt about food and how to nourish my body. And the list goes on....

I have learned a lot about food and how important it is to track it
I learned that to lose weight you don't have to pay for surgery or take weird supplements or cut food groups out of your diet. You need to eat to lose weight. The most valuable idea is that you have to change your diet to lose weight, it can't just be exercise alone. I used to just exercise and hope the pounds would fly off. It wasn't until I used the food journal tool properly that I lost 55 pounds!

how important tracking is, not drinking your calories away and that I'm not the only one that has struggled with their weight.
