A few months ago I started making myself get up 1/2 hour earlier in the morning to walk my dogs. At first it was like dragging myself from the grave, but now it has become a habit. It really helps me focus on what I need to do that day and gives me a great energy boost. ...and my doggies love it too!

Good to hear! I'll think of you when I'm sitting on the couch thinking "Do I have to walk my dog?" And then I'll think of you when I respond "Yes," and grab the leash.

Let me know how it goes!

I am so with you on not being fair to my dog and walking her each day. I will think of you when I walk my dog this evening and again tomorrow and again the next day. This message will make me accountable with the end result being a very good thing for all involved.
You go girl!!!!

I have a 9 month old bull terrier and I've been fairly good about walking him since I got him. Lately, I haven't been walking him daily like I should because of the heat, which isn't fair to him. Also, he gets agressive and barks a lot when I don't take him out. So, in addition to working out for 10 minutes a day, I want to walk my dog for at least 20 minutes every day.

Anyone else with me? You can set how long your walks go so long as you do it every day. I'll be checking in here daily to update on our walks.
