Maybe whatever choice you make will be the right one and the key is in the sticking to it. You can't really go wrong can you? I haven't tried WW but know a lot of people who have and they've done quite well on it - but for my money SP is the way to go - what's that - it doesn't require any money? SOLD!

When I was in my turning 40, I joined WW and got to goal in about 90 days. I tried WW 3-4 times in my 50's but never could lose more than a pound or two. Now 55 lbs heavier than 20 years ago and not wanting to spend the money on WW, I am an enthusiastic Sparkperson, although I am still in my first week of tracking and paying attention!

I reached my goal and became a lifetime member of WW a few years back. The weight came back on (slowly) rejoined WW twice, was successful, but got frustrated because the weight is coming off slower , because I am older. Got tired of paying every week. My daughter told me about this site. I love it, I get support, track my food and fitness, and it is FREE!!!!! Of course I use WW recipes, and favorites, but can get just as many recipes, and support, and encouragement from SP, and did I mention it is FREE!
I actually "try" to track on both sites! I like to see where I am in my calorie intake, since WW no longer uses calories in the calculation of points.
I also like to see if my carbs are in line with proteins and I also track my sodium.
It takes commitment and TIME - which is why I said I "try" to track both places!
I am not doing well at losing - so I need to see what truly "works"!

Just wondering how someone works both WW & Spark People. I lost 40 lbs on the old WW & tried the points plus program but couldn't lose. Just started Spark people again, last week, but I gained. Just trying to determine & settle on a plan & trying to stick with it.
