Isn't it odd how sugar is one of the main things we combat, but there is no real way provided to track our intake or use due to the numerous ways in which "sugar" is hidden in foods? Kinda' makes me wonder?

That's a really great idea--I'd be interested to know if you get an answer from anyone in the Nutrition forum. I know I've cut down on added sugars but I'd love to get a better idea of where are the "hidden" sugars are lurking.

I haven't tried tracking that one, so I'm not sure of how it looks. I think I'll try it out and see.

I have been wondering about that myself. I noticed that all the individual types of sugar are there, sucrose, fructose, etc, but I would like to know how I am doing at monitoring within a range as well.

Sorry I don't have any ideas for you. In the same boat myself.

I tried to add sugar (sucrose) as one of the nutrients I track but there were no suggested ranges. I know the American Heart association says a woman should not consume more than 6tsp...or 100 calories of sugar daily. I don't have a huge sweet tooth but I am aware that so much sugar is "hidden" in what we eat I wanted to track it. Any ideas how to set this up as part of normal nutritional tracking?
Anyone else doing this?
