I've been eyeballing this one for a while now...

Paula's Ranch Style Pork Chops and Potatoes in a Skillet
1 tbsp Canola Oil
4 boneless Pork Loin Chops
400 grams Red Potatoes (about 7- 8 small)
1 can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup, 98% fat free
1/2 cup 2% milk
1 pkt (1 oz) Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
1 tbsp Paprika

1. Heat oil in large skillet.
2. Brown pork chops in oil.
3. While chops are browning, wash potatoes (leave skin on) and cut into bite-size chunks.
4. Remove chops from skillet.
5. Add soup, milk & dressing mix to skillet, mix well.
6. Add potatoes, stir to coat, then add pork chops.
7. Sprinkle with paprika.
8. Reduce heat to med-low, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until chops are cooked and potatoes are tender.

Everyone is welcome! The idea is to try new healthy recipes and see other recipes/reviews from our friends. Here is how it works...

1. Post a recipe (one that you haven't made before) that you have the nutritional information on. Many cooking magazines, cook books, and websites now have the nutritional information available for their recipes. There is a huge selection at or or

2. Make your recipe!

3. Review your recipe! I think it is really helpful to quote your post where you posted the recipe, then write your review. Tell us if your picky kids/husband ate it, if it was too dry or bland, or if it was perfect! Be sure to say if you would make it again or what changes you might make.

I thought we could do a two week rotation. Post your recipe by Saturday 9/10/11 and make/review it by Monday 9/19/11.

Remember guys and gals, the idea here is to try something new and report back and let the rest of us know how it turned out.
