You treat it the same as if you were in the office until you are disciplined then tweak it as necessary. I used to stick to a strict break and lunch schedule. Now I am more flexible in that I always try to take them but not locked into a certain time.

I have been working from home for at least 20 years. I love that all I need to do for a workout is open the front door and go, after I put on all the appropriate gear that did not even need to be packed. I love that I can choose the ideal weather time to take that walk, bike ride whatever. I love that I can do a strength training break whenever.

Resolve gaining back those surplus pounds is not an option. Find snacks to have on hand that will satisfy you without sacrificing your success. If you were able to lose 40 pounds emoticon I have confidence that you can celebrate the many benefits of working from home.

I've never had a 'work from home' type situation, but if you can, make sure your office or desk isn't too close to the kitchen! I found that when I'm doing my homework, it's tempting to ward off the stress of homework by walking into the kitchen and grabbing something. Snacking also aids in procrastination....

why don't you plan a food schedule? treat it like any other meeting, schedule what you will eat, where you will eat it and how much you will eat for the day so that you don't just graze.

My work situation may be changing in the next couple of weeks and I could go from a desk job at an office to a desk job working from home. I've been trying to plan out a strategy (setting a standard work schedule, scheduled stretch breaks, going to the gym over lunch, etc.) but I'm wondering if anyone else has any suggestions. I'm worried that all my hard work (40 lbs down over the past 2 years) will be undone by being way to close to the fridge all day.
