Great job on making a plan to baby-step your way healthy!! Small attainable goals are the way to go and scheduling time for yourself, be it exercise or meditation, is a must. Good job!

So I made myself a goal that was too much for me to handle. I started going to gym 7 times per week, I kept it up for 2 weeks (and felt great!) but quickly fell on my face. I'm also in dire financial need and am surviving on..pretty much nothing but toasted sandwiches, fruit, and yogurt. I won't be able to fix this dietry financial issue for another 2-3 weeks at least, and my body feels pretty drained because of it.

So I thought I would take a step back, and stick to developing fundamentals. Make smaller goals. Here are my smaller goals:

1. Get 8 hours of sleep per night.
2. Get to work on time. Due to cushy job I have been slacking off and going in late to catch up on the 8 hours of sleep I'm not getting. It makes me feel terrible because really I am a hard worker, and I feel terribly guilty (and disorganized for the day) if I come in late. No more!
3. Go to gym 3 times per week. One of these is going to be yoga.
4. Meditate for 10 minutes 3 times per week.

And I'm writing these out because I feel like I may be more inclined to stick to them if I make it public. LOL. Wish me luck? I hope with the 8 hours of sleep & arriving to work on time, it will give me enough energy and motivation to get to gym more often..and by that time I'll have enough money to buy lots of healthy greens and yummy protein to keep me even more motivated (:
