I have been stuck at this weight since January. I have tried a lot of exercise, not a lot, eating at the low end of my calorie intake, eating at the high end. Everything. I took my measurements, and that has helped. I am not the same size as January, but the same number on the scale is frustrating.

Historically my body stops at 174...thus, at the age of 45, I am not going to push that number this time around, it is my goal.

Honestly I look and feel great at that weight. I simply am not a waif, my body is the the sturdy sort, a workhorse so to with nice curves.

I lost weight in my late 20's, went down to 145...I looked too thin, even pictures make me question that choice. I starved myself to do it, the hair was falling out...darn tooting silly.

I am on my last 10lbs & I have been stuck for 3 months now. It is so frustrating. I exercise 5-6 days a week, strength training, walking & biking. I stay at the low end of my calorie range, then when I was logging my exercise & calories burned I got a note that I may need to increase my caloric intake so I did to 1400 I am still stuck. I don't know what else I can do. I weigh myself every 3 weeks & it's gotten to the point where I just laugh. I can't believe I can't budge the scale with all that I do. I lost 62lbs so far & have kept it off for 3 years, which is great but I just want to get this last 10 off.

I'm stuck between 175 to 180 and my goal is at least 160. I work out about 4-5 days a week. Kickboxing, bootcamp, circuit training, weights, dancing and walking. Nothing seems to be working for me. I eat between 1500 and 1700 calories most days. Some advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

I've been stuck at about 165 for about a month! I'm still working out 5-6 days a week and I've lowered my caloric intake to about 1400. I changed up my workout routine and diet and it didn't knock me off this plateau. I don't know what else to do!!

Remember the closer you are to your body's idea weight the harder it is. Those last few pounds are rumored to be the hardest.

How are your clothes fitting? Maybe you aren't suppose to lose them? How did you pick your final weight? i will never be what I weighed in high school, just not reasonable weight. I am now going for fit and BMI

I have been at the same weight about 2 months now. I know I did some damage to myself with not monitoring my food intake more and sticking to my food plan. I am back on track though and hoping to see the weight change again.

I have now been stuck within the same 5 lb range for 4 years with a change happening to that range only when I was pregnant a year ago. After my first child, I was able to blow by my starting pregnancy weight and continue to lose a ton of weight. Then I became stuck. After a few years, I got pregnant again and lost my pregnancy weight rather quickly. Then I became stuck again.

I have been sabotaging myself at this point by saying why bother, I will never get below that weight anyway.

Am I alone? How do you finally get your mind to agree to work harder for the goal (since I can only assume that is my issue, right)?
