U are the captain of your ship, in spite of relatives who are not on board with your goals, replace the nuttela with the thoughts of being physically fit, in shape pretty good, admired by others who are in the fitness world, ORrrrr, eat the nuttela and be fat, unattractive, no energy, no desire to do anything, always feel bad, sick u name it captain, the choice is yours

Do it for yourself and maybe when they see how happy and healthy you are they will jump on board. My husband and daughter make terrible food choices, but I don't join them. I like to feel good about myself and want to avoid all the health problems that eating bad leads to. You choosing to make a change in your becoming healthy is only a positive thing. They will soon come to appreciate it. I wish you much success on your healthy journey.

great to have a great hubby

Put the spoon down, and the lid back on the Nutella!!! LOL, I have been in this situation, and truly still am. My hubby can eat whatever, whenever, and is almost as thin as when he was a teenager. He would still love for me to cook the way I did when we first got married.
First of all, you are doing this for YOU, which in turn will give you more energy and vitality to be able to give back to your family, so in the end they are benefitting as well. Don't ever feel bad about making healthier choices for yourself. And you are being an excellent role model, and it may take time, but that will rub off on them.
You are in the right place for support. You have to do what is best for you no matter what your family says. Do not let them hold you back.

Good morning sparkpeeps,
I'm brand new to the spark-world and looking for some support. My family is not on board with my weight loss goals. They're content to keep eating the same old "foods" and doing absolutely nothing active. My spoon is dangerously close to entering the Nutella jar this morning. Help, help help!
