Oh, sorry, I've never seen those before! I wonder if they freeze dry them. I've dehydrated onions before but they don't get crisp, they are dry and chewy. Penzeys Spices has some toasted dried onions and I just ate a few. They are crisp with a good onion flavor and then melt in your mouth. Ifound and fell in love with Seneca Crisp Onions. I used to get them at the 99cent store in my neighborhood. Now I can't find them anywhere!!! I liked them because the were sweet,crunchy and satisified my need for potato chips without all the calories...unless I eat the whole bag in one sitting. I would like to find a recipe to make my own...but they have to be really crisp.
