I have been a Spark person for a few years now, but haven't logged on regularly due to time constraints. I logged on this morning to read up on work outs to help keep you cool, and fortunately for me, I have a pool in my back yard and have been taking advantage of pool workouts.
The other thing I was excited about was my measurements and weight compared to what it was in 2010 after my first baby, and before I got pregnant with my second baby in early 2011. My second baby is six months old, and my weight is only one pound above what it was a year after having my first baby, and my measurements are almost the same as well. I just wanted to do the happy dance when I saw that my "stats" weren't that far off from where they were when I had considered myself "back to normal" after my first baby.
I still have a few pounds to go before I reach my weight loss goal this time, and a few more inches to get off my waist, but for now I am very happy with my post baby body results. ;) Thanks SparkPeople for all the encouragement to get those pounds off!
PS. A couple of months ago I was very discouraged about my post-baby body and weighed 162 or more; today I am at 150 and want to keep this momentum going! 13 pounds to go!
