I saw that too! I was like... mmmmm cheesecake...

I checked it out, saw a single cheesecake was almost $60 and then it didn't look so good to me.

I have found that I can have cheesecake in moderation. Just a small portion. And the real kind, "not" the sugar free or diet variety.

And Ad Block is wonderful if these things really bother you

If you send an email to, they can check it out and remove it if they think that's necessary.

Hope that helps,

So browse the internet using Firefox and install the AdBlock add-on. I haven't seen an ad on the internet in years.

Keeping this site trigger free would not help you in dealing with triggers in life.

Triggers are all around us- you need to develop strategies for dealing with them.

I've been to Overeater's Anonymous, A.A, individual and group therapy-they all components on how to deal with triggers and setbacks.

What helped me out was making a list of potential triggers and situations where they could occur and then I practiced using coping strategies for dealing with them.

good luck!!

No reason why you can't have that cheesecake...just a reasonable portion.

The difference with food and alcohol is that alcoholics cannot have one little bit, and with your argument, yes, booze ads on a site dedicated to rehab would be highly inappropriate.

On my Nutritional Tracker page, (and it often appears on others, as well) right next to Track Your Food and right above Add A Food, is an advertisement for the Cheesecake Factory, complete with photo of a multi-layered vanilla and chocolate cheesecake. It says MOM WANTS CHEESECAKE, and there is a button to link to the site.

I like SP, and think it has a lot of helpful info and useful things. But I find this a particularly insulting and offensive ad to have on a site where people are trying to control their urges about food.

It's like having ads for vodka and wine on a rehab site......
