I got the following information from the Klondike website. This really speaks for itself. This is simply not stuff that we need in our bodies.

Artificially flavored vanilla light ice cream with milk chocolate flavored coating. Artificial flavor added.

Light ice cream [nonfat milk, sugar, corn syrup, milkfat, whey, maltodextrin, propylene glycol monoesters, cellulose gel, mono and diglycerides, cellulose gum, locust bean gum, guar gum, polysorbate 80, carrageenan, natural and artificial flavor, caramel color, annatto (for color), vitamin a palmitate], milk chocolate flavored coating (sugar, coconut oil, chocolate liquor processed with alkali, milk, whey, soybean oil, cocoa processed with alkali, natural and artificial flavor, soy lecithin, salt).

I have found when I check the nutritional content on something it can be a very quick turn off for me. At least I'm informed and can factor it into my regimen.

Well, the problem for me is that once I start eating that kind of thing I find myself having serious cravings for more. If I go ahead and indulge in the cravings, the cravings seem to get worse -- kind of a vicious cycle.

I guess I personally don't see anything wrong with treating yourself to one. I know with what I'm doing is just eating what I want within my range. For instance, if I wanted some ice cream, as long as I stay within my range for everything else, then heck yeah I'll eat some!

I know what you mean! Eveyr day at work there are cupcakes, cake, bagels, etc. Something to tempt me. Usually instead of partaking I just ask one of my friends to tell me what it tastes like so I can vicariously enjoy it. Not the same at all, but I always feel a sense of accomplishment for abstaining!

It was "Treat Day" at work and there were boxes of every kind of ice cream you can think of . . . I ended up having a Klondike bar. Totally delicious, but I feel SO bloated now and am thinking it really wasn't worth it. I want to remember this next time around!
