That is great news! Congrats on your achievements!
Spark is a great community and the support & encouragement is second to none. Plus so many great articles and recipes, etc.
I sure feel blessed to have found this place and know it will be a blessing for you, too.
Way to go and keep us posted on your progress!

Congrats on your progress! You have got great determination (just don't make your body scream too loudly!). My primary feel for how Spark People is different (aside from being free) is that they emphasize small goals, small successes, building momentum gradually into a sustainable lifestyle change. Not a diet (I tell myself that over and over). On SP, it's ok to hit a playeau because it is practice for maintenance and everyone in the community can encourage you to keep on Sparking until your body lets go of the weight. You just keep on Sparking!

So, I've been keeping up with everything. I go out and do a mixture of fast paced walking and jogging every night, and then the strength training every other day. Not going to lie, my body is screaming, but I've been able to go a little longer and a little further each day that passes.
I also hit a big milestone for myself a couple days ago. I checked my weight so I could enter it in...I am finally out of the 200's. I was 198 the last I checked to be exact. I am very happy to see that the number is dropping, and I love that I have more energy now.
I have to say that Spark is really helping me with this, and that surprises me. Especially after trying Weight Watchers and just having no luck. I can't help but wonder how they are any different. But, I'm certainly not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
