Thanks for the explanation for how to remove inactive friends! I also remove friends with whom I do not communicate regularly.

@KJ - Caskey is the one that's killing me. I really liked him, and he just disappeared. He used up his points to give goodies to folks, then left.

re: deleting friends with closed accounts -
from your Spark Page, click EDIT MY PAGE (top right)
select ADD, REMOVE, SEE ALL MY SPARK FRIENDS (towards the center of the page)
click REMOVE under any name you want to delete

That's funny, I just did that recently. I only unfriended accounts that were no longer active.

JoJosHome was the one that hurt the most, she went inactive after some very snarky remarks against her here in the cafe'.

I think its something we should do regularly to make room for those new people.

yes, I clean up my list all the time. Set your page to update or change, I'm not sure what they call it, go to your friends section and start removing.

I go through and remove friends every now and then.

I don't think there is. It clogs my Mutual Friend page.
They either went away or kept changing their handle.

Is there a way to remove "friends" who no longer have an active Sparkpage but still show up on your list?

Nope, not rude at all to unfriend people.

I wish I had started doing that sooner because it is time consuming to remove people. I have 274 friends, of which maybe 74 are "active."

I've started to be selective on accepting friend requests. And on the rare occasion that I send out a friend request, it is always to someone I admire and who has been around for awhile.

The problem is that people join Spark, all gung ho for the first week or so, then disappear after "friending" a zillion people.

of course it's okay!

I cull the list and remove folks who seem to have vanished. I keep friends who are still active on the site, even if they don't do much one on one communicating with me.

I don't want to sound rude, but I am still fairly new to this site (only two months) Since I started being a sparkler however, I have made some very good friends with whom I communicate regularly... others no so much. When I first signed up I "friended" some people with whom I thought I would have a lot in common and assumed we would be communicating on a regular basis. Since then though, some have no even created a spark page or they do not seem to be an active member at all. Long story short I have not heard anything from them since, and rather than "jam my page" with a bunch of people just to have "friends" I would rather only have the people that are really friends. Is it considered rude or improper to "un-friend" people. Again, I don't want to be rude or create any bad feelings, I just thought I would be communicating with some of these people and now they seem to be disinterested or just gone.
