Hi and welcome to SparkPeople. There are so many great tools and great people involved with this site. I'm sure that SP can help you along on your journey to a healthy lifestyle. Good luck reaching your goals!

In my humble opinion, would suggest not to worry so much about weight loss right now, Worry about getting yourself healthy, both physically and mentally. Best wishes!

Right about now is the time I need to start taking care of myself! After giving birth to my beautiful baby boy in July last year I was diagnosed with Post Natal Depression... After bouncing around Doctors and Psychiatrists, I'm now on medication that helps me function BUT I've now gained more weight than when I was at the very end of my pregnancy. My sleeping is shady to say the least and I have no energy whatsoever... I feel incredibly sad when I reach the top of the stairs and I'm short of breath and my chest hurts...
I'd love any tips on getting started on this massive journey
