Talking with your doctor is certainly a good starting point, so if you have not done so, that is where I would recommend you turn to first. I have also included a link to our new Limited Mobility Lifestyle Center which is a perfect resource to help you along.

1. doctors check up before starting any exercise routine 2. start very small and add more time as you feel better 3. get the weight off- lossing 176lbs worked for me- I was able to drop 1200 mgs of pain killers daily..
for each lb of overweight it gives 4 lbs of excess stress to each joint..
Go for eating healthy and use a table top hand bike called a ergometer.. The foot may be out of commission but we can also peddle with our hands..
I have Arthritis in my foot and I find it hard most of the time to walk long distances or be on my feet for any amount of time. I want to get back into walking and eventually running . Do anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to help so I wont be in so much pain or do I just have to suck it up and deal with it.
