Sometimes I eat emotionally. Sometimes I am bored so I eat for no reason.

So I decided to do my "Diet Personality Profiler" on the site, and after finishing it I was labeled firstly a "Portion Distortioner" and next an "Emotional Eater". I actually think I'm more of an emotional eater, I eat just to fill a void in me. I eat because I'm happy, because I'm sad, because I could care LESS who cares, because I don't care.
But then again, I think my eye is definetly skewed when it comes to portion sizes. I remember, a few weeks ago... I nearly polished off an ENTIRE bag of Ritz "Dairyland Cheddar" crackers - I think there are 7 servings in it. This was after having breakfast a few hours before that, and AFTER the crackers... I made a rootbeer float (all this before 11am!). I didn't feel stuffed, I felt content like a fat Buddha, lol.
In hindsight, I think to myself, "Geeze... Sarah, that's a bit overboard." - and I'm sure that anyone else would agree. I have a love of food, doesn't have to be good food (tasty, delicious, satiating, etc.), it just has to be FOOD. I'll eat plain cottage cheese, spoons of peanut butter, a can of beans for Pete's sake JUST to feel FULL. This isn't normal.
I really need to cut ties with my "Emotional-Distortion" with food. I need to look to food for nourishment, not boredom killer, emotional punching bag, punishment, or a celebratory accomplishment. I need to take a good hard look at what I am consuming on a daily basis. I've made a pledge to log ALL my food per day. Baby steps!
