It is currently on sale for $399. I looked at a blown up picture and the sash is definitely sewn on. Attempting to remove it yourself would destroy the dress. DB might have something similar, with a better selection of sashes. Or you could wear the blush sash. Blush and plum match.

You could try a website called Light in the Box. I have heard some good and "some bad" things about them.

That sash is attached the only way to remove it without destroying the dress would be to take it to a seamstress.

I would google 'David's Bridal T9218'. I just did and it appears to now be on sale at David's for $350 as well as on a few other sites like recycled bride. There was one on eBay for $299. It looks like it would be difficult to change the sash as in the front the stitched flowers are over the sash.
Anyone have a T9218 dress from David's Bridal in size 14 or 16 they want to sell? I fell in love with this dress, but can not afford it. I would love in white with a plum (purple) sash. Can you buy a new sash and change it yourself if you buy a used dress?
