Thanks to you all for replying to my message. It is up to me to take care of myself can't be blaming my husband for my poor eating habits. I will take your advice they are all very good. The good thing is we are planning something really special for our 10th Anniversary an over night getaway. We were going to do a Bed & Breakfast on the coast, but it's a little too far for us to go for a weekend and his mom is up there in age to watch the kids 4 days. I have young children. She might go bonkers before we come back. Thanks again, Annette

I feel for you Anet. It has been my experience that a guy (and a girl) try their best to impress one another while they are dating and then after the marriage we have this mindset like, "oh, ok, were married now we can chill out" If that makes any sense. Heck, it took 6 months into my husband and I's relationship before he farted in front of me. LOL! What you need is to tell him you miss the romance and attention that got you and him twitterpatted in the first place. You two love each other or you wouldn't have lasted for 10 years. I hope this helps. I know for me my husband and I have been under a great deal of stress lately and this has caused us to argue like cats and dogs, but we always make up and cuddle and uh hum other things.LOL! Heck, make up sex is the best kind. LOL! I wish you all the best! Amy

Take the initiative. I always like it when my wife takes the lead, at whtever!
I will always take the hint and follow-up and do soemthing too.
Quid pro quo- can't leave it up to the guy to do everything. Set up a night out doing what he likes to do, and tell him flat out that you'd like to go to a nice candle-lit dinner somewhere. Tell him you miss doing that. Don't be subtle.
Start eating more healthily and exercising. It's nobody's fault but our own if we are fit or not fit, so don't make up excuses and play the blame game!
Have you talk to him about your feelings and your need for more romance in the relationship? If not, then it's likely he has no idea and thinks everything is good. We men aren't psychic like they are in romance novels and aren't always good at subtle hints either.

Hello, I started gaining weight back in 1996 went past 200 lbs. Then married my husband gained 10 lbs before the wedding. Had two children didn't' gain that much, but now I am at my heaviest I've ever been. I'll be married 10 yrs next month and lately just want to flirt with other men. I know that is wrong, but sometimes I think I am in a marriage, but very lonely. I really doubt any man is going to flirt with me since I weigh so much, but I am craving attention and not just sex. I wish I had the romance part of the relationship. My husband said the romance is for the woman...well yeah then why isn't he giving me the romance? When we married I thought he was actually romantic, but it turns out he says he has never been romantic. I am a hopeless romantic too and really need that. I sometimes wish I had that first time excitement of passion again. Now I did my part a year ago I did all I could I dressed sexy every night for 3 weeks and made sure we had sex, but once I wasn't really getting any response back I stopped and he didn't even say anything about why it stopped. The last date was in Vegas last May. As you can see we don't go on dates he never takes me out on the town. I would loved to be wined and dined and maybe some dancing. I sometimes think if I were really crazy about my husband I would lose this weight, but maybe I feel stuck in a rut. Annette
