How tall are you? The only way to look "toned" is to have a lower body fat percentage which means more fat loss. However, depending on your height, 128 is probably a healthy weight. So, what might benefit you is to lift heavy and actually gain weight to put on muscle. (You will also gain a fat, but, if done right, you will gain more msucle than fat.) Then, once you've put on some weight, you go back to eating at a deficeit to lose tha fat and she what you've been able to build. This is commonly referred to as bulking and cutting in bodybuilding circles. It's something you may want to look into.

For me personally, Pilates is the best core exercise program.

Having said that, however, I'd like to suggest that:

(a) you might seek ways to be so happy in the body you have worked for and attained. You should be very, very proud of yourself.

(b) perhaps your body is the best it can be right now. You might be entitled to cut yourself some slack re: the way in which you view yourself.

You've done a great job. Enjoy it!

I have not been on this site in a while. I still have kept up diet and exercise of course, but I'm at a standstill. My body has stayed at 128 for such a long extended amount of time and I don't know what to do anymore. I feel great about myself considering I started at 180, but I want more. Isn't that always the case when you're a woman? haha. I just want to be more toned. I've tried working out more days a week than usually, lifting weights, changing my diet. I have bought a bikini for the first time in my life and I want to look "smoking hot" for my boyfriend when we go on our cruise.

I basically am asking what is a good way to tone your stomach and make the nonexistent abs of my dreams appear?
