Make your marinade a recipe with the calculator.

Then measure how much it makes, eg 3 tablespoons, then measure whats left, so if its 1.5 tablespoons left, enter you used 1/2 the recipe.

I just count it all...think if it as a freebe deficit...your calorie count says you ate that little bit of oil and lemon juice, but really you didn't...or make/use just enough marinade to give the meat a light coating for flavor only (as you would with a rub or glaze).

Usually, I'll keep the marinade tho, and use it to cook the meat in, and as a sauce to go with my side, be it noodles or rice, or to top the veggies for a little extra flavor, without adding any calories, since I've already added it to my nutrition tracker

When you enter the ingredients in the recipe calculator for a marinade do you make adjustments because 1/2 the marinade is thrown away? Never thought about it until today when I was tossing all that extra oil, lemon juice, honey, and spices out.
