I am giving myself a emoticon today, because yesterday is the first day in a couple of weeks that I can in under my calorie goal!! emoticon This has been a real struggle for me lately because I have had a lot of summer events and meals away from home. I start out planning to eat within my calories, but have mostly been failing due to my consuming higher calorie options, snacking too much, etc. But alas... one step backwards. TWO steps forward. I have persevered and didn't give up!! A read the Boards for encouragement and chipped away at my "all or nothing mentality"of days past which would have led me to all or nothing thinking and behaviors. Now, I feel like I have turned myself around and heading back in the right direction to rid myself of this final 19 lbs. emoticon emoticon emoticon
