Once you use common sense I think the rest of those programs are that come out every so often are just folks trying to sell their book.

We have been doing the "D-Tour" plan from Prevention magazine, I feel that most of those "cures" for diabetes are really just tweeks on the same thing. Our Endo says you can't "cure" it, but you can learn to control it, same as being overweight and overeating, no cure, it's a chronic thing you learn to control and live with. Many have been trying to do this for years and years. Sticking to any eating plan is hard to do, no matter how fancy the plan is, or which author wrote the book, it's the sticking to it that counts. Wishing you success for as long as you can hold out. Some deprivation is required, whether we like it or not, unfortunately.

Does anyone have any information about this program? It is a 30 day program by Dr. Stefan Ripich ND, CNP. It mostly uses good eating habits and moderate exercise to achieve results. I have searched the reviews on the web, but cannot tell if they were written by people not associated with the program. I have been told by my doctor that I was pre-diabetic but through changing my eating habits somewhat have brought my Ac1 down from 7.5 to 6.2. Tghe program does not seem harmful in any way, I was just wondering if any Spark People had any experience with it. Thanks. Keep up the good work and remember, as Red Green says: "we're all in this together".
