... The best strategy is to focus on prevention. Before you do anything else, get a medical and dental checkup and a flu shot. We also caution against always using over-the-counter and prescription medications as a crutch to treat or prevent illnesses. Try saving yourself the trouble, pain and cost by applying some lifestyle changes instead.

(For a well-rounded General Health program, try to choose at least one item from each category)

PERSONAL HYGIENE

Floss those teeth
Wash hands after using the restroom. Use soap and water and take off rings.

HEALTHY HABITS & PRACTICES

(First, get a medical and dental checkup and a flu shot.)
Get some sunshine. But use sunscreen, at least SPF 15
Maintain good sitting, walking and standing posture
While working, blink regularly, look around, stretch, move

CREATING A GERM-FREE ENVIRONMENT

Wash dishes within two hours of use. Let them air dry.
Use disinfectants and bleach (not just anti-bacterials) to clean kitchen sinks, rangetops, fridge doors, cutting boards, telephones, toys, countertops and door handles
Clean sponges in the dishwasher. Or rinse in a light bleach/water solution and air dry.

Throw away, give away or recycle something that you don't need.
