There's a time for work. There's a time for play. And they happen to be one and the same.
We all know people who say their jobs don't really feel like work. That's because they absolutely love what they're doing. They consider themselves lucky to have work they have fun with, or to be part of something they really believe in. This can happen in any area of your life, not just your career.
Your goals reflect what you care about, your interests, what you'd like to do. Can you think of a more fun way to use energy than on the stuff you deeply enjoy and hold dear? If it sounds a bit idealistic, it is. But you're going after something you really want. That's what makes it fun.
You'll still need gallons of elbow grease, but it won't seem like work at all. It's your play time.
