105 pounds lost
I decided to lose weight when I found out I had hypothyroidism. After three years on SparkPeople, I'm fit and healthy. I can exercise! I do double spinning classes and have run a 10K in under 55 minutes. I couldn't even walk 500 meters before as I was morbidly obese. Because I'm fit have the energy to do so much more.

The Nutrition Tracker, hands-down, was the biggest help to me. I also should mention my Spark Teams. Without my "100 Plus Club" and my friends on that team, I don't know if I would have succeeded. They are my inspiration. They are my friends and my support group on SP. Like me, they fall and stand up again. We help each other to get through the hard parts and not give up on ourselves and our journey.

Now I love exercise. It was and is my way to control my mood and ad to my energy level. I work out three times a week minimum and want it to be five times. I'm pleased when I succeed in doing so, and when I don't ... better luck next week.

I wish I had lost all the weight. I still have some pounds to lose. At the same time, weight is not the biggest issue any longer. Being healthy and being fit is. Weight is a part of that, but not all of it.

Don't mind falling down. Don't punish yourself for it. That will make you give up. Forgiving yourself and getting up and going on will make you succeed. You're in it not for just a short burst and quick success, but for the rest of your life. One day of falling won't change that.
