This is the best way to change your life. People who get healthy and stay healthy live a long and healthy life. You feel good about yourself and not in just the way you look.
Three years ago, I joined SparkPeople. I was afraid of developing the obesity-related health problems that run in my family. I lost 110 pounds and have kept it off for a couple of years now.
I changed my diet and started exercising three times a week. I used the Nutrition Tracker and the Message Boards on SparkPeople to keep me on track.
There are so many that I can't count. Everyone has because they have changed their lives for the better.
What is your favorite way to indulge now? Yogurt is a staple in my diet but I find that it take the place of the sweets.
Now, I try to work out five or sometimes six days a week!
I am able to do so much more now. I get outside and play with the dog, walk and run, which I haven't done since my teen years. I just feel healthy, and the energy I have is great.
Now I want to help others the way I helped myself. I also am going to take online classes to be a personal trainer.
No matter how many road blocks life puts in the way, jump over them and keep plugging away. You will be happy you did. I know I did!
