I make sure that I have a fruit with breakfast every day. I try to include 1 fruit and 1 vegetable with lunch and have at least 2 veggies with dinner. That way I get at least 5 fruits & veggies per day.

Very nice strategy to eat fruits. Preferably foods should not be eaten immediately after the meals. Most of us substitute fruits for desert , which is not the right way to eat fruits. Since the fruits different Ph values and they metabolised differently , these should be eaten along a different time table and not llinked with intake of regular meals. Hope you would take the suggestion in the right spirit.
