Just because something is good for you doesn't mean you have to like it! Why eat things you don't like just because they are "healthy"? It will just leave you resentful and more likely to binge. Experiment, find out what you like and then ENJOY eating!

Yea! I've tried to eat oatmeal a hundred different ways, with a hundred different "add ins" and still HATE it! I refuse to even try again, thank you!

I am so pleased to see this post. I have quit or never really started so many "diets" because of "essential foods" that were things I could not make myself eat, could not afford, were not readily available or were ridiculously expensive.

This also works the other way around! Don't feel like you must eat all the (fake) "food" around you - full of empty calories - just because so many people are still doing it! If you adore broccoli & salads, kombucha & protein shakes, fresh fruits & veg - do your thing. To more & more folks, "good food" REALLY IS (real) food that is good for you. And some of us really can TASTE & appreciate the difference!

If you don't like tofu, don't eat it. If you hate gyms, then don't go. Finding things that you like to do/eat but are healthy too will make it much easier to stick with. Substitute healthier versions of your favourite foods, and find exercise that is fun for you. Remember, this is for life!
This is a lifestyle change. I have to eat what I like. I hate salad, raw veggies, oatmeal, your typical diet foods. So I don't eat them! My diet is full of delicious food that I LOVE! I know I can eat like this for the rest of my life. It is not a temporary change.
