have a picture of a woman from a fitness magazine, who is nicely toned - not skinny, but fit. I have it posted on my fridge so I see it every time I'm in the kitchen and every time I get food. It gets me moving and keeps me away from the ice cream!

Current studies on weight and breast cancer show a normal BMI equals 60% less chance of recurrence. I have a beautiful little picture on my fridge that says: 60%.
There may be a statistic for you. When I created mine, I saw it as a postcard to myself. A gift. A goodie. Take the time to enjoy creating it while you think of your weight goal and date you want to get there. Oil pastels work great. Every time you look at it you will remember the love you gave you.

A friend of mine had a rather gruesome picture of herself up on her fridge, it helped her realize that she didn't want to look like that anymore. I personally use a picture of my mother, I love the woman like there is no tomorrow, but she is defiantly helping me stay out of the fridge!
