Measuring progress
Don't use the scale solely to check your weight loss progress. Scales can go wonky on you and don't always give the right measurement. Measure yourself with a tape measure and reverify one month or two after. Also, use clothing to check how you are doing. When the weight comes off, your clothing fit so much better because you have been exercising and watching your food intake.
Look for inch loss, which is a wonderful thing. Sometimes you lose in inches and not actual weight and pay attention to how your clothes fit. Measure yourself even if the scale isnt budging something good is happening! Just think of yourself getting healthier.
Think positive! Relax! Sometimes you don't actually lose weight, but inches. Measure yourself and see! Picture buying yourself a ticket for the rest of your life to exercise and eat right!
