I have used this for 10 years and saved hundreds and hundreds of dollars. I can buy in bulk,\ and freeze individual portions. I can cook ahead, and freeze future servings. I use the bags, and also Ball jars. This appliance has paid for itself many times over! It keeps your food fresh so much longer

If you like crunchy, fresh lettuce that will keep in your refrigerator for at least 1 week, try this tip. Buy you a Foodsaver from Costco, buy a dozen wide mouth mason jars from Walmart, and order a wide mouth sealer from Foodsaver (about $8.00) I like to buy Romain Lettuce in bulk, chop it into bite size, wash and spin, pack in jars and seal. The lettuce will stay dry, and super crunchy. A money saver and a super easy way to make a wonderful salad.
