Loose The Booze

After discussing it with everyone online, it is pretty well agreed that alcohol puts weight on us. IMHO, it ain't the calories of the alcohol what's doin' it, it's the chemical effect. I quit drinking for 3 months late last year and lost 30 lbs. I quit in 2005 and lost some 40 lbs.

Eliminate alcohol - the calories have no nutrition and regular, heavy drinking is poisonous to the body.

I agree with you that alcohol adds pounds. I stopped drinking and have been sober for four years and have lost 119 pounds. I only weigh 120 now so I lost half of my body weight. So I agree Skip the Booze.

I totally agree. Drinking beer has been my diet pitfall for the past two years.
