Portion Control For Cookies!

Divide cookie dough into cookie sized portions. Quick freeze these in a single layer on a cookie sheet and once frozen, portion into freezer bags. After sealing, write baking directions on each bag. Bags of one or two are great for a quick fix, bags of 6 to 8 are great when you have company!

  • It depends on the cookie, for the homemade stuff I do, for the dough from those school sales, I don't. I'll leave this comment on your SparkPage too in case you don't get it! - by SPARTANJAI
  • I really like this idea! We have "leftover" cookie dough right now because my daughter baked a batch for school from one of the tubes of dough. I'm going to do this now with that dough. Do you thaw the dough before you bake? - by FATMOM48
  • What a great idea! I used to bake cookies for my boys but stopped when I committed to a healthy lifestyle, knowing my weakness for eating cookie dough. What a great solution! Thanks! - by REDHEADRIDER
