hi all. i find that i was eating too many snacks with my tea drinks so i have now trained myself to wait till my tea is cool enough to drink all at one time and have a smaller snack or even half or quater of a cookie so one cookie lasts me all day instead of eating one cookie with every cup of tea.
I drink cool water to keep hydrated, it tastes better cold too. Cold water also burns calories because your body needs to warm it in order to process it. I drink warm drinks, hot tea, if I am feeling hungry. Warm/hot drinks make you feel satiated. It may not be the best tricks, but they are definitely helpful to me. Especially the hot drink 91
Everybody's bodies are different...some like it hot...some like it cold. It's no different with the water we drink. If you're struggling to drink your water quotient for the day maybe it's because of the temperature! I love hot foods and hot drinks...the thought of drinking cold water freaks me out...so I drink hot water (with a wedge of lemon, if possible) or room temperature water when I'm not near a kettle! It goes down so much easier than cold water!!
