  • Those minutes that commercials are on can be used to walk in place. Given how many commercials they play can get in hundreds of steps and use up some calories. - by PROPMAN1

  • Great idea. I do 5 min leg exercises before I get out of bed. Since I cannot do floor
exercise, have two artificial knees this is helpful to me. Have never counted this, but will now and add to my other movements or walk for the day. emoticon

This is one of my tricks - I will decide to go for a 'short' walk with my dog. I'll tell myself "just a short walk to the stop sign and back" - then next thing you know I'm walking for 25-60 minutes. For me, it's easy to make a simple goal and then 'overachieve' it. I end up feeling much better for it! - by BELLAMAGOO78

  • Excellent idea! I need to do this every evening, not just now and then. - by LYNNES6
