We get too focused on tracking, weighing, shopping cooking, etc... That is all good. But when we don't reap our reward we become discouraged. Don't focus on the reward. Rather focus on the accomplishments that you are making. Doing the right thing because it is the right thing to do.

This is my primary way of being... i know it as "detachment from outcome." The Buddhists speak of non-attachment, and that, my friends is the absolute best principle in that particular philosophy IMHO. Thanks for sharing! ;)

How very true. I find myself sitting at the computer putting in stats and not getting all my exercise in or snacks of veggies washed and cut. My scheduling is really off and I need to start with the food first thing and then exercise and finally get to the computer.
