To remove fruit stains wash the material in luke warm water and leave in a basin of milk overnight. Should fruit stains occur in silk, it is best to wash the material in luke warm water containing some Borax.

Boil about 2 cups of water, and VERY CAREFULLY pour it through the fabric. It instantly will remove any fruit stain. If the fabric is already washed and dried it won't work.
1.Quell oversudsing - Since, of course, we are all very careful in how much detergent we use in our laundry, we never have too many suds. But if someone overfills ... you can eliminate excess suds with a sprinkle of salt. 2.Dry clothes in the winter - Use salt in the final laundry rinse to prevent clothes from freezing if you use an outdoor clothes line in the winter.
