It has lately occurred to me that the reason I never get anything done in the house or yard is that I do too many other things. I write all those other things in my day planner, but I fill the day planner up & then there's no time for housework or yardwork! I need to write time for chores in too!

I have the same problem as of late. I sit down every weekend and plan out my week. I make myself do one small task to complete. That could be putting all my dishes away, clear off the counter in the bathroom or pick up the living room on my way to bed and place things in their right spot.

I'm a list maker too, but my list can get too long. So I mark just a couple of things as priorities for the day. If I get those few things accomplished, I can feel successful, even if a lot more were left undone.
