Sometimes I just can't help giving into a carb or sweet craving. However, when I do have it I always try to also eat a protein along with it. I eat my dark chocolate square, and then a handful of almonds. I want chips, but I'll grab a couple of slices of lunchmeat to go with it!

MORE INFORMATION:
It helps satisfy you longer than just having an empty carb that will make you hungry in a few hours. It also helps me eat less of the not-so-good for me item. Want a cookie? Have a slice of low-fat cheese with it. Want some candy? Eat some of the leftover chicken before hand and you'll eat less!

    Yuppers you and I are alike!! I also will grab my dark chocolate square and then workout while allowing it to melt in my mouth... then when it is gone, I drink a bunch of water. It is the reward before the workout....lol Even my hubby likes this as well, he asks for his "candy" before we step out of the door for our walk.
